Restorative yoga

Restorative yoga practices rest the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body. To restore means to give back, to repair and renew.

Classes are held at the Alma studio at Attune Body Management, 886 Kingston Road.
Twice a month, on Sunday at 4 pm - 5.20 pm, from November 2026 to March 2027

Winter is a time to slow down and add rest. In this class, we spend time being in the pose rather than doing the pose. We allow the pose to settle into our body; attention can be placed on the breath, encouraging space in the body.

Using blankets, bolsters, and other props, we support ourselves as we let go of tension. Restorative yoga is an accessible way to turn inwards, promoting deep rest and honoring the body, mind, and spirit.

“Fay’s restorative yoga is a thing of beauty. It’s time to give your body a deep reflective rejuvenation. Fay is very thoughtful in curating a balance of movement and deep relaxation poses that allow the body to let go.
I would highly recommend this as a way to reduce stress. “

"From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The lighting, soothing music, cozy setup with blankets and bolsters instantly help me relax. Fay guides the class gently and thoughtfully, which makes every pose feel supportive and accessible. What I love the most about this restorative yoga class is how much of a reset I feel after class, not just physically but mentally too! It is the perfect balance of stillness and intention. If you are feeling stressed or just need a moment to breathe and reconnect, I would highly recommend this class!"
