This eight-class series will introduce or deepen your understanding of the Hatha practice. Each week you will learn a different breathing technique/ pranayama. The sequence of poses will be different; for example, one week will focus on balancing poses, another on the deep frontal core line. Every week a little extra time will be devoted to exploring one pose more thoroughly. You will learn the benefits and safe transitions, the Sanskrit name and translation. You will have the time to learn modifications that still create the benefits of the pose.
Each week you will learn either a Kundalini or Buddhist meditation.

“ I was looking for a beginner’s yoga class and wanted something that would be welcoming to someone with no exposure to this discipline….and I found it. From the very start of my attending Fay’s class, I felt the benefits. The routines have given me a better understanding of how my body is working. Fay explains the intention of each class, and with great music and clear instruction, the 60 minutes fly by. The class itself is refreshing and filled with warm students that love to listen and laugh. It has been a joy to participate and be engaged in both heart and mind. It’s rare to find something so transformative, but these classes have made slow down, be mindful, and most importantly, kind to myself.”
